This Belimo Rotary Actuator with Fail-Safe for Ball Valves offers an efficient solution for your air-conditioning, ventilation and stationary heating systems. With a robust torque motor of 2.5Nm and a nominal voltage of AC/DC 24V, it ensures reliable performance. The control mechanism operates in an open/close fashion, and when de-energised, the valve securely closes (NC), providing fail-safe functionality.

With a motor running time of 75 seconds for a 90° turn, this rotary actuator allows swift and precise valve adjustments. The device adheres to the IEC/EN IP42 degree of protection, ensuring durability in diverse conditions. Designed for ease of use, it facilitates straightforward direct mounting on the ball valve with just one screw. Moreover, you can choose the mounting orientation in 90° steps relative to the ball valve.

In the event of a power interruption, this rotary actuator smoothly moves the valve to the operating position while tensioning the return spring. When the supply voltage is cut off, the fail-safe feature kicks in, turning the valve back to its original position using the stored spring force. With overload protection, no need for limit switches and an automatic stop function upon reaching the end stop, it ensures a seamless and secure operation for your HVAC systems.
