Find out moreImmerse yourself in the warmth and comfort of the BodenWärme Electric Underwood Heating Kit, exclusively designed for laminate and floating engineered wood floors. Engineered to deliver an even temperature throughout your room, it effectively eliminates the common issue of hot spots and cold spots found with traditional radiators. The kit includes a dSTAT thermostat with a discreet yet stylish white finish, providing effortless control over your heating system. So, discard those slippers and embrace year-round comfort.
The heating mats operate at AC230V +/-10% 50/60Hz, providing efficient year-round comfort. Their dual-core wire technology simplifies connectivity with a single connection point, boasting an ultra-thin 1mm wire that discreetly integrates into your floor, keeping the increase in height at a minimum. The system's Fluoropolymer insulation and aluminium mat composition promise a heating solution that stands the test of time. For peace of mind, the mats feature a lifetime guarantee, with separate warranties for the thermostat.
Regarding the dSTAT thermostat, it features a sleek, modern design with a white fascia that seamlessly integrates with most contemporary interiors. Its responsive touchscreen enhances usability, and the adaptive learning feature allows it to tailor its performance to the unique properties of your home.
With a comprehensive seven-day programming and holiday functionality, you possess complete control over your heating schedule. The Key Lock function safeguards your meticulously set programmes, preventing inadvertent adjustments by small children or accidental brushing past the controls.
To calculate which kit size is right for your project, you will first need to work out the area of the whole floor space by multiplying the length of the floor by the width. Once this is done, you should then subtract any fixed furniture from the area with a clearance of less than 50mm above the floor. This will eradicate the risk of causing hot spots in your room. When you have a total area minus the deductions, you should deduct a further 10% from your total as this will allow for the spacing between cables and around the perimeter of the room.
