This slim, ergonomically designed radiator controller will fit on most standard TRV bodies. It's battery powered, with a two-year battery life. Additionally, a battery low reminder is visible on both the radiator controller screen as well as the Evohome controller screen.
The backlit LCD screen, which displays the zone name and local set point temperature, can be viewed easily or folded away flat. What's more, you can easily override the local set point temperature by turning the dial at the top of the radiator controller. Override temperatures can be set in half degree increments and are effective until the next scheduled temperature change. There's an open window feature that recognises sudden temperature drop and shuts off the local radiator. The zone temperature changes you make at the Evohome controller's screen or via the remote app will change in real time on the radiator controller's screen.
Altogether, this radiator controller is an ideal solution when considering heating zones. Since no additional zone valves are required, the installation is a lot quicker and cleaner. And with existing TRV bodies already in place, there's no need to drain down the system. Last but not least, you can easily bind the radiator controller into the system using the guided configuration feature in the Evohome controller.
