Description

This hand-tighten-only flexi hose is suitable for the connection of plastic or copper pipe onto a male thread appliance such as a tap and has been designed, manufactured and assembled in the UK by John Guest Speedfit. The flexi hose with an "SV" also features a service valve to isolate the water supply.

On one end, this hose features a push-fit connection for a supply pipe and on the other end, there is a plastic nut which can be hand tightened onto a tap or male thread. If the need arises to demount the pipe, simply push the collet towards the body of the fitting and pull the pipe to release. Installation can be reduced by around 40% against traditional fixing methods.

Please note:

  • With all plastic pipes, the relevant manufacturer's insert is required. This flexi hose is not suitable for central heating systems.
