This Xpress copper chrome press coupling has so many benefits and ensures major savings in installation time and cost compared with traditional jointing methods as it is part of a completely heat-free jointing system that requires no additional solders, adhesives, compounds, gas, hot works permits or costly insurance.
With clean, rapid, heat-free jointing without complicated clamping techniques, long preparation procedures or waiting for adhesive to dry, this Xpress coupling is safe without the need for naked flames. With a perfectly clean internal bore, less finishing or cleaning is required and there is no localised annealing from high temperature working. Without carbon deposits, internal solder runs or flux residue, this coupling reduces the risk of corrosion while the system does not need to be 'dry' for effective jointing.
This XPress fitting has a wide range of approvals including Kitemark, WRAS and DVGW and electrical continuity is assured when the XPress jointing process is complete. This Xpress coupling is ideal for a diverse variety of applications such as domestic maintenance and refurbishment, new build and large-scale public sector projects.
